to keep it going for future generations to enjoy
Hi, I’m Kimberly Beazer, founder of
Beazer’s Garden Workshops.
As a child growing up, learning about our world, I often wondered if there was anything I could do to help with the environmental issues I heard about in school and the news. It seemed a “doom and gloom” situation plagued our planet. It was a concern that stayed with me and fueled the direction of my life.
Children shouldn’t feel hopeless about the condition of the world. As adults, it’s our responsibility to teach the next generation what they can do to respect, conserve, restore, and protect the environment. We must teach ourselves.
As a young adult, I started volunteering and working with eco education focused community organizations. Here I found people dedicated to tackling our social and ecological challenges – Administrators, Educators, Scientists, and Keepers of our shared natural resources of earth, air, water and human capacity. Rebels for Nature. I learned to see the beauty in the chaos and our place in it.
Over the course of my journey,
- I have taught students ages 3-65yrs old in gardens, parks, rivers, rooftops and indoor settings
- I have earned a BA in Journalism/Media, a Master’s in Childhood Education, and an MPA in Non-Profit Management
- I’m a registered DOE Vendor #BEA223146
- I’m a registered NYC and State MWBE- FMS Vendor #VC00229957
For the last 20+ years, I’ve been dedicated to helping organizations build thriving eco-programs, and to teaching future generations on our connection to the environment. I’m particularly interested in guiding the public on topics related to green infrastructure, showing where our natural and built environments work together, and our role living in both.

“The garden educator worked with two teachers and 50 students and created a wonderful flower and vegetable garden in our playground! This is great for classroom teachers who are not “gardeners” in their private life and are not comfortable providing hands-on garden education. Beazer’s Garden Workshops works with you to apply it to your school’s needs. Exceeded expectations.”
